December, 2009: KnuckleBonz announces its new Rock Iconz® figures are now shipping which feature Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend of The Who. These figures are officially licensed and approved by The Who. Each of these figures is a limited edition. Only 3000 of each will be created.
These figures are now available at www.knucklebonz.com and select retailers worldwide. All figures in the Rock Iconz sculpture series are hand-painted, numbered and come with a certificate of authenticity.
These statues represent Pete and Roger in performance during the early 1970’s timeframe. The statue of Roger features him holding the microphone high overhead, while Pete, in the white boiler suit, is portrayed at the top of his famed “windmill” pose.
“The Who are many things to music fans. To some they are the first punks; to others they represent the marriage of pop art and music or the ultimate rock opera.
