KnuckleBonz announces its Ted Nugent Rock Iconz Limited Edition Statue, slated for a November 2008 release. The statue is a hand-painted, limited edition sculpture which depicts Ted from the 70s with his Gibson Byrdland® guitar.
The figure is fully licensed by Ted Nugent and Projectile Marketing, LLC and is also a Gibson Guitar® Corp. licensed product. KnuckleBonz creates hi-end sculpture of rock’s best and honors great musicians through its music based sculpture series: Rock Iconz®.
“It was about the aggression and speed with Ted,” remarks Tony Simerman, President and Creative Director of KnuckleBonz, Inc. “He took the Chuck Berry-like rock of the late 50’s and early 60’s and sped it up and made it fast. You add in that one of a kind alpha-male personality and that’s it… It’s just Ted.”
About Ted Nugent Limited Edition Rock Iconz: The Ted Nugent Limited Edition Rock Iconz stands approximately 9” high on top a wooden display base. Each figure is a hand-painted/numbered piece and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Only 3000 figures will be created.
“The Nuge” is known for timeless rock anthems like ‘Stranglehold’, ‘Hey Baby’ and ‘Cat Scratch Fever’ which laid the foundation for his solo recording career. However, it was the electrifying live album ‘Double Live Gonzo’ that captured the “Motor City Madman” in all of his wang-dang-fury and solidified him as one of the top acts of this classic period of rock music.
Pricing and Availability: The Ted Nugent Rock Iconz is expected to ship in early November 2008. This hand-painted, numbered figure stands 9” tall on top a wooden display base. SRP is $115; available at www.knucklebonz.com and through select retailers worldwide. Pre-ordering is available online. This is a limited edition of only 3000 created by KnuckleBonz.
