KnuckleBonz prepares to ship a second Randy Rhoads Limited Edition Rock Iconz® Statue. KnuckleBonz honors rock’s most influential artists through the music-based sculpture series: Rock Iconz. This hand-painted figure will depict Rhoads with his polka dot v guitar.
The figure is been licensed with the Randy Rhoads Charitable Trust. KnuckleBonz has worked with the Rhoads family for full approval on the figure. The Randy Rhoads Charitable Trust, established to honor the memory of Randy, provides endowment scholarships to qualifying students in performance music.
The Randy Rhoads Rock Iconz is a limited edition statue, with only 3000 created worldwide. Each statue is numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity. KnuckleBonz is planning to release the Ozzy Osbourne Rock Iconz statue in early 2009. This figure will feature Ozzy from his solo career during the time he and Randy shared the stage. Randy’s partnership with Ozzy over his first two albums would sell over six million copies and paint a new face on rock guitar.
“From the time the first sculpt was released, Randy’s fans have been asking for the polka dot v; we were only too happy to oblige.” Simerman adds, “This pose differs from the first piece showing the over the top energy that Randy would have on-stage with Ozzy each night. This was of course in contrast to Randy’s otherwise quiet demeanor.”

The Randy Rhoads II Rock Iconz is expected to ship in late October 2008. The figure stands 9” tall on top a wooden display base.
