"Elvis in the Army" Rock Iconz Statue

The “Elvis in the Army” Rock Iconz statue features Presley during his two year enlistment in the US armed forces.  The figure is a limited edition of only 3000 worldwide and each is individually hand-painted. The KnuckleBonz sculpture depicts rock-n-roll’s original legend in his army fatigues complete with the third armored core patch. The Elvis figure is sculpted sitting on his footlocker, playing guitar. Each statue is numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

“We wanted to give Elvis fans something unique with this first statue. It is interesting to think where Elvis was in his life and career going from the world’s first rock star to a PFC in the US Army,” explains Tony Simerman, Creative Director of KnuckleBonz, Inc.

The figure is been licensed with Elvis Presley Enterprises. KnuckleBonz has worked with Elvis Presley Enterprises for full approval on the figure. The figure is slated to ship in late Spring 2009. “While there is debate today on who influenced specific musical genres; however, there can be no doubt that all rock music was influenced by the king,” says Simerman.
